Our Services
Our support groups and social programs for older adults and their caregivers provide help to those feeling grief, loss, or facing new challenges in life. All groups are delivered via Zoom unless otherwise noted.
Balancing Act: Alzheimer's or Other Dementia Adult Child Group
Mondays & Thursdays, 7:00 - 8:30 p.m.
Our Adult Child Group offers adults who are supporting a parent or parents living with dementia the opportunity to share resources and find mutual support and encouragement.
Partner Loss Bereavement Support Group
Mondays, 10:30 a.m. - noon, 1:30 - 3:00 p.m., 3:15 - 4:45 p.m., weekly (3 sessions)
These groups, held at three different times on Mondays, offer emotional and spiritual support for adults who are grieving the loss of a partner/spouse.
JF&CS Memory Café
Fridays, 10:00 a.m. - noon, monthly
The JF&CS Memory Café is a welcoming gathering for people living with memory changes.
Parent Loss Bereavement Group
Wednesdays, 5:00 - 6:30 p.m., weekly
This group offers emotional and spiritual support for adults living with the loss of a parent.
Parkinson's Care Partner Support Groups (Waltham & North Shore)
Tuesdays and Thursdays, weekly
Care Partner Support Groups help reduce stress for family members as they share strategies, concerns, and ways to cope. Offered in multiple locations and at multiple times.
Parkinson's Adult Child Group
Tuesdays, 7:00 - 8:15 p.m., monthly
Our Adult Child Group offers adults who are supporting a parent or parents with Parkinson's disease the opportunity to share resources and find mutual support and encouragement.
Parkinson's Therapeutic Movement and Dance
Wednesdays, 10:30 a.m. - noon, weekly
Therapeutic Movement and Dance targets the movement challenges of Parkinson's disease.
Suicide Loss Survivor Support Group
Tuesdays, 6:30 - 8:00 p.m., 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month
Providing suicide loss survivors with a safe, supportive and judgement free environment where they can express themselves, find comfort, hope and resources with others confronting the pain and loss of a suicide.
