This informational panel will feature perspectives from professionals who are also parents of people with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
Join the SPED Housing and Transition Group at JF&CS on April 8 for a panel discussion about disability planning.
Michael Weiner, Amy Weinstock, and Karen Mariscal will field and answer questions on many aspects of disability planning. In addition to their professional experience and background, they will also provide valuable life experience as they have navigated their lives as special needs parents.
The panel will be moderated by Brett Skloff, and will include a question and answer period. The meeting will be attended by parents and professionals who serve our community, and provide an opportunity for parents to engage with one another as well as experts from various organizations. There will be pizza, soft drinks, and baked goods available to enjoy during the presentation.
