The Center for Early Relationship Support is a center of excellence for direct services, training, supervision, and consultation that focus on the earliest parent-infant relationship.

Programs include:

Lauren & Mark Rubin Visiting Moms: free home visits for new parents
A nationally acclaimed program for pregnant women and new mothers who are struggling with the adjustment to an expanding family. A trained volunteer will come to the home for up to two hours a week until the baby's first birthday to offer nurturance, support and encouragement.

Early Connections: specialized therapeutic home visits and treatment
Postpartum depression, anxiety or other postpartum adjustment disorders can leave a mother unable to cope with the physical and emotional demands of caring for herself and her infant. Our trained therapists serve mothers who need extra help feeling connected to themselves and their babies. We work to increase their confidence, to help them feel able to meet the responsibility for their baby's growth.

Support Groups
We run over 14 on-going support groups for new mothers throughout Greater Boston.

Fragile Beginnings
This program provides services for parents of premature infants to help bridge the transition from hospital to home and to support the special challenges of parenting a premature infant.

Feeding Support
Provides client-centered support for a range of feeding concerns.

Sleep Consultations
Our Sleep Consultation program provides information, guidance and support for families facing sleep issues. We offer an individualized approach that includes specific strategies designed to meet each family constellation.

Infant-Parent Training Institute
The Infant-Parent Training Institute is for experienced professionals who wish to broaden their knowledge and develop skills specific to clinical work with infants and families. It offers an integration of neuro-developmental and psychodynamic approaches to parent-infant psychotherapy.

Healthy Families: services for young parents
This program offers free home visits and group support for young parents who are under 21 years old and their families. Parents develop a special relationship with a home visitor who provides support to the family, information on child development and access to community resources. Families may receive services until their child's third birthday. The program serves 23 Massachusetts communities.
